This short circular walk of about 2 miles starts and ends at the Blue Boar
Turn right on leaving the Blue Boar and walk downhill on Tucks Lane. At the bottom of the hill, turn right following the track signposted "Bridleway Newbridge 1¾", going through the access gap to the left of the metal gate and onto a wide grassy track (Common Lane). As you continue, the track becomes more overgrown, and can sometimes be quite muddy at the far end. As you emerge into an open field, bear slightly left and follow the path, keeping the hedge and ditch on your right. At the end of the hedge, turn sharp right onto a track leading back up the hill to Draycott Moor Farm, which is visible in the distance.
As you climb the slope, pass a cottage on your left before arriving at Draycott Moor Farm. Bear slightly left onto a tarmac lane for a short distance, keeping the farm buildings on your right. Immediately after the farmyard, turn right at a signposted footpath onto a short grassy track between large conifer trees and then out onto a track. Continue along the track, initially with a hedge on your right and open fields on your left. Follow the track to eventually reach a metal gate which leads out to Sudbury Lane. Go straight ahead, with the houses on your right. On reaching the end of the lane, turn right into High Street, back into the village. When you reach the village square, turn right into Tucks Lane, back to the Blue Boar.
